Samsung is planning to launch a new storage variant of the Galaxy S25 smartphone in India. According to a report by 91Mobiles, the company will introduce a 12GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Galaxy S25 in the country after the initial sales phase. The new variant is expected to offer a more affordable option for people who do not need as much storage.
Currently, the Galaxy S25 is available in India with two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. However, the 128GB version is already available in some countries like the US. The launch of the 128GB variant in India will allow more customers to buy the Galaxy S25 at a lower price compared to the higher storage models.
The report suggests that the 128GB variant of the Galaxy S25 will not see a price increase and will be priced similarly to the Galaxy S24, which was launched last year at Rs 74,999 for the same storage configuration. However, this new variant may be sold mainly through offline retailers and Samsung-exclusive stores.
The Galaxy S25 series was unveiled earlier this month, and the smartphone is available for pre-order in India on Samsung’s official website, select online platforms, and offline stores. The Galaxy S25 comes in several color options, including Icy Blue, Silver Shadow, Navy, and Mint. There are also exclusive colors available on Samsung’s website, like Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold.
