One day, he helps a struggling customer by giving her financial support and even allowing her to use his photos for promotion. Meanwhile, Rusthum (Abhimanyu Singh), a local businessman, is searching for a bride. He falls in love at first sight with a woman (Kamakshi) who gets a makeover from Sonu’s makeup skills. forces her to marry him. However, after their first night together, Rusthum discovers a shocking truth.
At the same time, the oil used in Rusthum’s wedding feast causes food poisoning, sending many people, including an MLA, to the hospital. This creates chaos and puts Sonu in trouble. With the police after him, Sonu changes his look to Laila to escape. But what shocking truth does Rusthum discover? How does Sonu handle the situation? Does he prove his innocence? To find out the answers, you have to watch the movie.
Performance
Vishwak Sen attempts two different roles—Sonu and Laila. While he fits well as the Model Sonu, his transformation into Laila lacks conviction. His performance in the lady getup feels incomplete, making it hard to take seriously.
The heroine, Akanksha Sharma, has little to do except add glamour to the film. Abhimanyu Singh, as the villain, brings some humor, but it doesn’t save the movie. Kamakshi Bhaskarla plays a crucial role, but her character is not written well enough to leave an impact. The supporting cast does an average job, but no one stands out.
Analysis
From the moment the movie was announced, people were curious about how Vishwak Sen would pull off a lady getup. But unfortunately, the film fails to deliver anything interesting. The story is weak, and the execution is even worse.
The biggest problem Is that nothing in the film feels real. A man disguising himself as a woman should have been an emotional and serious transformation, but here, it is treated as a joke. The movie lacks logic and struggles to make the audience care. Instead of focusing on strong storytelling, it relies on adult comedy, which feels forced and cringeworthy.
The screenplay is dull, and the comedy feels outdated. Emotional scenes fall flat, with no real tension or excitement. Even the action and dramatic moments fail to leave an impact. From start to finish, the film struggles to keep the audience engaged. The first half focuses on establishing Sonu Model’s character and the events leading to his female disguise. The second half turns into a full-fledged adult comedy, making it even worse. The director fails terribly in handling both comedy and emotions, turning the film into a chaotic and unwatchable mess.
Verdict
Laila is a complete disaster. The idea of Vishwak Sen playing a woman was intresting, but the execution is a total failure. The film lacks a proper story, the comedy is cringe-worthy, and there’s zero emotional depth. Even Vishwak Sen’s efforts are wasted on this mess of a script. This is not just a movie you can’t watch with family it’s a movie you shouldn’t watch at all. A boring, painful experience from start to finish.
